BIRGIT's package of treasures for the Cat's & Bird's swap...
My dearest friend Birgit knew just what would sooth my homesick heart, so she sent me these vintage postcards of my hometown Augsburg in her swap package. Yes, there were some tiny happy tears...
All of her treasures were wrapped in pink papers and in delicate shades of rose from the ribbons to the delicate patterned cut our flower blossoms. Even the tissue has roses on it.
One of the things I love so much about all of my dear friends, Stefanie, Anja and Birgit is that each one of them sent me some kind of delicious German chocolates with their thoughtfully selected treasures. Birgits's tea is called Balance and the other is Lighthearted..yummy fruit flavors so right for a chilly autum evening. Such a cute altered tin with birds all in pink and a pretty dress to wear to Miss Peach's wedding on Halloween for me along with a vintage rose pin.
This rose covered box held all the many candies. Look at the pretty footed planter...have you ever seen such shabby chic roses on blue before? A perfect place to display all the pretty ATC's.
Here is the rose pin on my mother of the bride dress...
She never forgets to include the most wonderful napkins and papers...
A vintage photo confection...
And now for Birgit's ATC's....A meowing trio....
Miss Wings...on vintage paper I like so well.
Nice touch of ribbon stamping, aCATually on lace. Very tricky to do...

ANJA's Brids & Cats Swap
My new friend Anja from Germany begins her swap package like a good German with Schokolade!!! Oh how good it was on that hot summer night to share it with Cole and Dennis. Perfection!
Miss Peach was delighted to have her very own wedding ATC's made for her by Anja. I just adore these tiny wedding reminders.
Miss Peach as the beautiful bride...
Mickey the black cat as the handsome groom....
Our swap was all about birds and cats...a purrrrfect combination. thank you Anja for the pretty card. I am so glad you are going to join us from now on in our swaps!
All the nice candies a girl needs were included in her package. Tissue, daisy stick pins, a bird and a butterfly...tea bags for a chilly autumn evening soon to come. The flavor is interesting, raspberry/chili called Sweet Devil! Pretty roses and pearls wire garland that I can bind sketchbooks with. I love the nice notebook with it's handmade papers...

Look at the wonderful scrap inside the nice wrapping paper....
So purrrrfect for Valentines Day and Miss Peach's wedding.
Kitties and a Vintage day at the ocean side complete the themes. I adore these scrap papers and remember them so well from my childhood days in Germany. I was very surprised by them and thank you so much for the purrrfect candy Anja!

Silly kitty girl those are German chocolates shaped like little cat tongues and are for adults only to eat.
My big boys are so happy that you thought of them with your perfect selections from the home country Stefanie!! Cole is so thrilled to have a German view master TV set with secens from the Moon landing. Danke dir lieber Steffen for getting this for Cole in Nurnburg at the Toy Museum, we have been there before!
