WONDERFUL ATC'S FROM STEFANIE!

 My sweet friend Stefanie in Germany sent me these amazing ATC's...they mean so very much to me because they are my Mother on her wedding day and my Oma and Opa.

I love the little bird ATC because birds were nesting in the mailbox on my mother's wedding day...and the rabbit ATC because my Opa raised rabbits.  So much perfection...how did you know Stefanie...thank you so much!

These mermaids swam off of my workbench this month...ATC's for various swaps and Mini Moo cards.  I brought back the tiny shells from Maui and they are perfect for these little works of art.  Mermaids are really water faeries and my favorite summer subject along with lighthouses...they make me feel the magic of spending time at the seashore...

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD ATC STORYBOOK...

 I made this sweet little house shaped ATC for the Little Red Riding Hood swap on BlissfulArt...it shows the whole sordid story with the welcome happy ending...but not for the big bad wolf who has a migraine headache!

AN ELEGANT FRENCH FLAIR MATCHBOX FOR MY PARTNER BEC'S...

 This is the box I created for my partner Bec's in Vintage Dragonfly's Partner's Choice Matchbox swap.  I brought back this wonderful gleaming fabric from Maui...it is covered with rosettes and is slightly iridescent in the light.  I love the taupe color because it is so neutral and goes with everything!

 These are the goodies I included...I wanted them to have the feel of being collected up on a walk throught the flea markets of Paris...

This is the inside of the drawer...a vintage Paris image...in the front you can see the little glass bead feet I added to the bottom of the box...yes the rosettes are all over the bottom also...I do hope Bec's likes her box as much as I do.  Below is a close up of the 'floating' butterfly pin that can be detached to wear on an outfit...

IN A PATRIOTIC MOOD!

 I made this patriotic tag for my partner Tee in our monthly tag swap...it is flag day this month after all.  Betsy is busy sewing on those stars!

 This ATC is for a swap with MWS and had the theme STARS...I searched high and low for a wonderful patriotic Gibson girl and here she is.  I stamped on a fireworks burst of stars all over with Brilliance Gold and Stickled her flowing gown with Stardust!  The stars are from a garland and add the finishing touch!  Long may she wave!!!  GOD BLESS AMERIKA!

SEASHORE DREAMS MATCHBOX...

 My partner Michele really spoiled me with her beautiful confections from the seashore in our Partner's Choice Matchbox swap at Vintage Dragonfly.  The most lovely bits of flotsam and jetsam were included like a beach combers dream!!  I adore the tiny thimble and all the polished sea glass!  Thank you Michele for selecting one of my favorite themes!
