GOOD BYE TO SPRING IMAGES...

Here are the wonderful sweet creations that Stefanie sent to me. Her box arrived and when I opened it....there was green Easter grass cushioning everything inside of it. Real true Easter grass made from wooden fibers just like I remember it from Germany. Yes, I admit, I cried...
Her four ATC's are very vintage in style. I really like the cut up newspaper grass.

Thank you for making my Easter a little bit of home away from home...I look forward to our next swap after summer is over maybe...

GOOD BYE TO SPRING IMAGES...

Now that summer is finally here, it is time to put up the spring ATC images from our swap with Stefanie and Birgit before autumn comes. I think I have been lazy and mixing up my seasons a little bit. But life happens and sometimes good things are worth waiting for, so enjoy the collages...The first set is from Birgit.

I just love the three little white porcelain bunnies in their simple elegance. Easter means delicate to me...coloring eggs, making baskets and Easter cards. A rebirth of the soil, flowers, daylight hours and of course that sweet chocolate Easter bunny!

My TWISTED SISTER ATC CLUB is another fun ATC outlet for me.

This past week these two wonderful ATC's arrived and they compliment each other so perfectly I wanted to share them with you.

ATC FUN ACROSS THE OCEAN!

I want to show you the wonderful artistic ATC's that came from my talented friends Stefanie and Birgit. We each picked out two themes and made three ATC's. First are Stefanie's ATC's with the theme of CATS...look at those green eyes!Such a pretty trio of feline finery ...lace, stripes, and a crown. Love the newspaper flower!

Stefanie's second theme was HEARTS...so fitting because we all love kitties! The blue ATC is perfect for the BLUE swap I just finished with Mid West Stampers! I am falling in love with your flowers Stefanie! I need to buy myself a flower punch now:)

Birgit chose VINTAGE LADIES for her first theme. Look how wonderful these ladies pair themselves with the the three B's of music... They have the perfect vintage feel in colors I love.

the best theme of all! Birgit takes us on a dangerous journey to AFRICA with this wonderful fun story ATC set.

This clever folder held all of Birgit's ATC's...if it had a passport and some spending money, I would have been tempted to go to AFRICA!

I always feel so happy when mail comes from Germany. I know it holds creative little scraps of art made with great love by my friends who really enjoy using their talents...

This tiny bird book was made by Bobbi Nessly. I love small books. This one only has five pages...I got cheated or one of the birds flew away... Paulette's page with a duck...
Anita gave me a beautiful golden quail...

VALENTINES!!!!

The ATC with the tied up heart is from Vada Schutz of Mid West Stampers. Vada also sent me the Valentine on the right with the little children. I have never seen such a beautifully made card. It has SIX layers on the cover (click to see details). I am not a card layerer, so this impresses me and puts me to shame. Thank you Vada for these treasures. I am so lucky to have them. Meet Miss Rosie...she is a vintage Steiff teddy bear in a soft rose color. She has her eye on a Valentine romance with a dapper teddy chap who lives in Dreamingspires, England with the impressive name of Sir Woodstock. She wore her prettiest collar to impress him.... An ATC made for February's MWS swap. The theme is HEARTS and this ATC goes to my swap partner Vada Schutz.The title is, "Love doesn't bloom until it is given away!"
I made this abacus style card for a swap of secret Valentines on the Cat Bloggers Social Club. I hope Skittles and Wendy like it...
