MY PAGE FOR KARLA NATHAN'S FAIRY BOOK SWAP...

I always look forward to Karla's swaps each summer!  I found my picture in a vintage alphabet fairy book I have.  The kissing fairies were the letter X... just delightful and I had to use them.  I spend hours gathering the crepe paper for the edge and painting the wings but what a labor of love...I love my page!  The fairy girl's wing folds up to reveal a beautiful  shimmery paper underneath.  There are so many little delicate touches that you can only see in person.  I believe in faeries!
